New device available in Toledo to treat brain aneurysms

A newly approved treatment device for challenging brain aneurysms is now available in Toledo. An estimated six million people in the United States have an un-ruptured brain aneurysm. Dr. Syed Zaidi, Medical Director of the Interventional Neurology Program at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, said some patients aren’t candidates for a widely-used coiling method of treatment.
