The 2nd Annual Gord’s Family Game day is going virtual! This year, we invite you to sign up as a virtual participant and help raise money while playing games. We’d love for you to get outside with the people in your social bubble to play games in a backyard or park on or before the weekend of September 19-20, 2020 and share your pictures/videos with us. We plan to put them together to create a video to share with everyone.

We are asking for help in getting donations to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation of Canada and to continue to raise awareness of the symptoms and risk factors of brain aneurysms to prevent ruptures, work with medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families, and advance research to improve patients’ outcomes and save lives. The Foundation needs us now more than ever as many events have been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The donation cost to register is $40 and includes a face mask that will be mailed directly to your house if you register by September 13th. We just ask that you take some short video clips and pictures while you play.

Some examples of games you can play outdoors include:

  • Ladder toss
  • Frisbee, ultimate frisbee, frisbee golf
  • Volleyball
  • Tennis
  • Horseshoes
  • Shuffleboard
  • Ring toss
  • Cornhole
  • Baseball
  • Soccer
  • Badminton

We will provide more details and examples as the date approaches. We hope that you’ll register and join us virtually and play some games outside within your social bubble on the weekend of September 19-20, 2020
